To audition for MKDC, applicants must live in the greater Twin Cities area and have reliable transportation to regular practices. MKDC is an exclusive team, so members may not hold concurrent membership in another dance team.

The audition will include one boy-group choreography piece, one girl-group choreography piece, a beat test, and an individual performance. The choreography and beat-test selections will not be shared in advance. Applicants are encouraged to participate in both choreography sessions, but may choose one based on which team they are auditioning for. Each applicant must also prepare a one-minute K-pop cover dance and bring a device with their music ready to play.

MKDC’s 14th Generation Auditions will be held at the Edina Community Center, Room 301, on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 12:30 to 3:00 PM. Please arrive early for check-in and bring a water bottle and a pair of clean, dry indoor shoes.
